Danger Unseen

Gasping for air, he ran through the woods facing dangers unseen

Thoughts flashed like lightening, swift smooth reflexes, facing enemies umpteen

Adrenaline rushing through his body was a familiar roar

His refused to flee the shore

Ruthless enemies captured him

He fell

Bloodied

Now in bed, needing assistance for survival is his only reality

Wrestling with the phantoms of the battle in his mind

His body now a hollow frame, lifeless and empty

His valour is now past glory

Staring at space, motionless

He life

Paralysed
