Lavenders and Tulips

pirouette joyously,

The greyness lulled to sleep with lambent Spring’s embrace.

Trees bejewelled with virginal

emerald leaves,

The verdant yarns of hope amass laurels afresh.

Cuckoos and Robins concoct

soulful symphonies,

their dulcet strains escorting weary pilgrims’ home.

The mellow breeze whispers

to the buoyant blue skies,

“The patterned wheel persists, as flowers bloom and die."
