Happy Scene
Davy was a jolly boy
His passion was to play
And every time he skipped his school
He was merry and gay
Davy came to ground one day
To run a race with me
He slipped and fell on slippery clay
I laughed and jumped in glee
Davy’s clothes were spoiled and soiled
But mine were all clean
Though the fun was surely foiled
Yet he was a Mr Bean
Davy hugged me and rubbed me long
And dirtied my dress clean
Davy laughed and laughed and laughed
It was a happy scene!
