The smoke engulfed the area as the fire rapidly spread. The sight was horrifying, and people scrambled to douse the flames. Henry was just returning home when he witnessed the chaos. A crowd had gathered outside his property, desperately trying to extinguish the fire. He fell to the ground, paralysed by the scene before him. He attempted to scream, but no words emerged from his lips. His mind and eyes frantically searched for his family and workers, but no one was visible. People gathered around him, trying to console him, but no words could heal his heartache. The flames consumed his family, home, and business, leaving only ashes in their wake.
Four years later
Highway 56 was jammed with cars, and security measures were tight as a VIP was set to inaugurate the Grand Paradise Resort. Mr. Singhania, the owner of the resort, welcomed the esteemed guests, and the celebration continued into the early hours of the morning. A ghazal night was organised, featuring the famous ghazal singer Mahnur. During her concert, a chandelier suddenly fell to the ground, but Harry, Singhania's secretary, was injured while trying to save the singer.
Over the months,
Numerous incidents occurred at the Paradise Hotel, impacting both staff and guests. One customer nearly drowned in the swimming pool, while many others reported hearing haunting sounds and cries for help in the middle of the night. A hotel staff member sustained serious injuries when the elevator malfunctioned and crashed. Additionally, a child of one of the guests went missing, only to be found locked in the resort's basement. Due to these alarming events, the resort earned the nickname "Jinxed," leading to a significant decline in visitors and prompting staff members to resign.
The news about the Paradise Resort on Highway 56 spread quickly after its owner, Mr. Singhania, died in a fire there, with the cause still unknown. Four years prior, a similar fire at the same site claimed the lives of all family members and workers present, leading to speculation that their souls may have cursed the Singhania family. Allegations of forced land acquisitions by the Singhania group have also raised questions about their involvement in the recent fire, but no definitive evidence has emerged.
Harry, also known as Henry, sought revenge against Mr. Singhania. He owns a thriving interior decoration business. When the highway project started, the land mafia threatened Harry, vandalised his property, and bullied his workers. They even tried to throw acid on his family. Despite reporting the incidents to the police, Harry was advised to sell to the land mafia. However, he refused to give in. In a tragic turn of events, the land mafia set fire to the site, killing everyone inside. Four years later, Henry seeks revenge and eliminates Mr. Singhania, avenging the deaths of the innocent people who died that night. Ultimately, Henry takes his life.
