In Life She Stood With One Child Adrift
In life, she stood, our steadfast light,
Through day, night, joys, and struggles tight.
Her love, steady, raised us with grace,
Her gaze, a tale of hope, embrace.
Life's ebbing tide, my mother stood, a steadfast wood,
Some thrived, some lost in struggles, but in life, she stood.
One child adrift, a restless sea,
Her worries echoed, endless plea.
A mother now, with mine in tow.
My life's hues, love, worry, they grow.
In time's thread, care weaves, a gentle touch, soft and swift.
My eternal love endures, for one child adrift.

Note: With this poem I have tried to capture the essence of maternal love and endurance. It reflects on a mother's unwavering presence and support through life's challenges, and how this legacy of love and resilience is passed down through generations. I invite all the readers to appreciate the depth of a mother's influence, seen both in times of hardship and in the enduring strength she imparts to her that one child who struggles amidst other successful children.
