Clouds roar in thunder, set to pour,

The firmament spreads its grey envelope,

Gurgling raindrops gush down the slope,

My senses inhale familiar petrichor,

As the parched earth yearns for some more,

Enlivening the flora, rain brings hope,

Clouds roar in thunder.

The verdant hues offer wonders in store,

Romance in the air brings nostalgic dope,

The lively grasshoppers in leaves gallop,

Waves  crash violently on the sea shore,
