Mother's Silent Echo

In quiet halls, a shadow falls,  My heart still yearns, in silent calls, The world seems cold, now you're not near,  Gone mother's touch, which I held dear.  The empty chair, where once you sat, Our whispered tales, of this and that, Lost in my thought, the days we'd share,  Without you here, none can compare. Where once your voice, would softly sing, Now silence reigns, its echoing. Every corner, memory's trace,  Filled with your gentle love's embrace. I tread alone, this path of grief,  Seeking solace, and some relief.  In moonlit nights, your face appears,  Bringing forth, my reticent tears. Stars above, do not shine as bright,  In absence of your guiding light.  My mother dear, I miss you so,  Lost without you, where do I go?  Your absence leaves a shadow deep,  Mother's love, I'm lost, tears I weep.     Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
