An injured tigress ate her three cubs last month at the Jim Corbett Park. The incident of cannibalism is not uncommon among tigers, but the exact reasons behind it remain uncertain. Is it because of the inability of the authorities to look after the injured animal's food or other basic needs? Why do tigers have to starve? All these questions remain unanswered.
