What was our mistake?

You washed us out in fury,

And left the rest, stranded in deep fear.

Your children are scared for life,

As their homes and schools,

are wiped out

Grounds are a puddle,

or should I say, slush and clay?

Where leaves flowed, it's human remains now.

Is history repeating
