Once a Little Kid, Now an Adult
A little kid, sans a worry,
I lived my life quite happily,
I played with my friends ‘neath the sun,
I ran, danced, had a lot of fun,
As I grew older, to childhood, goodbye I bid…
I wish I could go back and be a little kid.
Now an adult, no more freedom,
Lost is innocence, life is glum,
I had lived in a fantasy,
Now I’m chained to reality,
A monotonous life I lead as a result,
There is no going back as I’m now an adult.
