Rekindled

A symphony roared within my soul And resuscitated me out of my musings  The unforced cadence fetched memories old Long-extinguished desires, got kindled once more. That mysterious rhythm  Reminded me of our rendezvous manifold When like lovers old, we gazed at each with hope By the meandering brook, near the old windmill.    I wondered if it was a sign A message wrapped in musical notes Telling me to do something worthwhile To rekindle bonds, that strengthened over time. With a buoyant heart, I hit the trail  Excited to meet my muse, exceptional  A familiar warmth tugged at my heartstrings Assuring me, that my destination was near.  From far I spotted my friend, so precious Standing tall, in an unyielding manner  Right there it was, My Mountain Green Waiting with wide open arms, to welcome me.    Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
