Just finished SILENCE by Thich Nhat Hanh, Nobel Prize nominee Buddhist Monk. The best thing I liked about the book is its simple language and the way the author has tried to convey his practice of mindfulness to stop the noise and bring stillness to our mind. Anybody who will read this book will relate to it as mostly all of us are entangled in the web of various thought processes that either drag us into the past or pulls us into future and thus stops us from living in the present and enjoying the moment. A wonderful book required to be re-read once in a while. Surely it will help us to silence our minds of unwanted chatter and be simply what we should always be- Happy. A must read.
