Silent Voices

Two shepherds rest in quiet glade,

Their flocks graze near, the world serene.

"These fields yield abundance," one states,

"Our lives enriched by nature's gifts."

"Yet workers toil for scant reward,"

The other counters, "hardships grow."

"We must invest in growth," one says,

"Progress demands we push ahead."

"But at what cost to dignity?"

The second asks, "Is wealth our goal?"

"Efficiency drives success," he says,

"We cannot lag. Fairness should guide,"

"Justice must win." The shadows stretch,

Their dialogue blends hopes and fears.
