Sleep My Baby

Sleep my baby, in your cot  Sadly to feed you, I’ve nothing got                                                        Your helpless mama, quietly weeps  Little milk and bread, is all I need Sleep my baby, in your cot This world is of, haves and have-nots Our life we live, on faith and hope  That gives us strength, life’s strifes to cope  Birds too find, for their young ones crumbs  O! Why so difficult, to feed my loved ones  Are you dreaming, about milk and cake The smile on your face, is it fake?  Sleep my baby, in your cot Someday we will, have food filled pot(s) A new dawn is, about to break Pray! It takes away, our pain and aches.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
