‘fell’ head over heels
in love with you
Did you hear your
heart being ‘stolen’
when love unlocked the door
Oh! can you hear
marriage bells ‘ringing’ or
your heart singing to its beats
No one heard when
a promise was ‘ broken’
a loving heart was ‘shattered’
Not a sound when
in silence did all the dreams
and hopes come ‘crashing’ down
That makes me wonder
can the Lord hear when
the day ‘breaks’ or night ‘falls’?
