The Babysitter

The Babysitter

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Ms. Blair
She happened to babysit a little baby as instructed by her peer
For her pal was going to attend a party
And how she acted so smartly

By shirking away from her responsibility
For she knows towards baby, her friend’s affinity
“Oh!I am going to party all night”
The idea only made her eyes bright

Poor Blair thought it was an easy task
Just a bottle of milk and lullaby, a baby could ask
Unless the baby started crying hysterically
So much so that Blair pulled her hair literally

  1. You succeeded in adding humour to your poem. Correct use of prompt (it said the poem had to be funny). Really like it.
