The Pen and Me

The Pen and Me

One day I would like to thank Mr.John C.Loud,
Because of his invention, my handwriting’s made me proud.
The tip gliding, forming curls and rollercoasters so smoothly,
Making writing a pleasure but obviously.

Dreaming up different plots and scenes,
My fingers working as fast as machines.
I build up each character,
Some loveable, some sinister.

Because what matters in the end,
Is that the writer makes the reader his friend.
Through he invaluable scribblings they take a peek,
Into the make-believe world that a pen weaves so sleek.
