The Plea Finally Heard

For a decade, she suffered oppression,

And died each day with no one to set her free,

Without food and water, she sank into depression,

Pale, she turned; no one heard her plea.

Each day, she summoned the Almighty,

But her sorrow-bound voice couldn't break free,

Yet she clung to hope like a phoenix, ever mighty,

With unwavering faith that God would hear her plea.

The caged soul, finally set free,

From the burden of fear and despair.

The heavens heard her plea,

Allowing her soul to repair.

She spread her wings, like a bird, free,

Expressing gratitude for the love shown.
