The Storm
The panorama was sun kissed and hushed
The wind and waves played havoc on the shore
The wavelets rippled with the strong currents
They appeared to have a mind of their own
The waves constantly crashed against the rocks
My heart felt as rebellious as the waves
I wondered when the storm would abate
My feet dug into boggy and damp earth
I lost track of time and resolution
Reality fought for supremacy
Once again, I was tranquil and at peace.
