It slowly creeped
into his life,
without his permission.
It is akin to
the war situation,
a selfish desire.
The intruder takes over
your own belongings,
claiming to be theirs.
Not to protect
but to destroy it,
in front of your eyes.
Helpless he stood watching
the deterioration,
though he put up a fight.
Hate building within
is highly cancerous,
douse it before the flames fly high.
