#Twelve
The twelfth and last month of this year is upon us, and what better way to pay homage to the passage of time than creating a story that is anchored in time?
For this prompt, your narrative must unfold within the confines of 12 hours. The challenge is to show the passage of time between scenes rather than just telling it (30 minutes later, etc.). While you may utilise transition markers and separators to indicate the passage of time, focus more on making the reader truly feel the temporal progression in the story.
To anchor your characters, select one of the following settings as the backdrop for your tale:
1. An apartment/room
2. A lift/elevator
3. At the airport/train station/bus stop
4. In traffic
5. In a forest/woods
Unleash your creativity and let time become the essence of your narrative.
- Weave a tale in a blend of genres of your choice. (Head on to the thread of this post on our FB Group for an enlightening discussion, if any.)
- Send in your entries to penmagica@gmail.com as an attachment in a word document (.doc/.docx) along with a 2-3 line bio (not required if previously sent) and a cover picture for your story (optional).

- Along with your entry please send a suggested cover for your story (LANDSCAPE ONLY, as direct attachment, and no watermark, please).
