Know The Writer

1. When did you start writing and what inspired you to write?

I started writing since I was in school. The various writing exercises then inspired me to write stories, poems, and autobiographies. Eventually, I started to pen my random thoughts, travel experiences and some fictional stories.

2. Which books influenced much of your writing?

From Enid Blyton to Shakespeare, Jane Austen to Cecelia Ahern, I’ve been influenced by every book I read till date. Daniel Goleman, Sidney Sheldon, Dan Brown are a few of my favourites. 

3. What do you think about Penmancy?

Penmancy is an amazing platform. A perfect place for those who are passionate about writing. The various writing exercises force us to stretch our imagination and sharpen our writing skills. A one-stop platform to read, write, and learn. The team is awesome and supportive. They give way to the budding writers, help each one with thoughtful feedbacks, thus encouraging us to better over time. 

4. Which Penmancy writers you like and why?

Everyone is awesome in their own way. Yet, to name a few whose style of expression and technical knowledge inspired and helped me to better – Sonal Singh, Anne Adarsh, Sreemati Sen, Rianka Saha, Kajal Kapur, Rham Dhel.

5. What advice you can give to fellow writers in the community?

Keep writing. Share your thoughts fearlessly. Support and encourage each other. Understand the suggestions and work on improving your writing skills.
