“There’s nothing more contagious than the laughter of a child”

And so this Children’s Day we are looking for laughter abound. Unleash your creativity and write a story where all the characters are children.

1. Your story must be within 250-300 words in English
2. Participation in this contest is free.
3. Writers of all ages are welcome to write.
4. Send your submission at penmagica@gmail.com titled “Giggles@Penmancy”. Only submissions sent through mail shall be accepted for the contest.

7. Contest duration-
   • Submission duration- November 12, 00:00 am to November 13, 12:00 pm (36 hrs)
   • Voting duration- November 13, 12:00 pm to November 14, 12:00 pm (24 hrs)
   • Result announcement- November 14, 8:00 pm IST.
8. The winner will be chosen on the basis of votes from the readers and the judges’ scores (out of 10), in the ratio 30:70
9. The winner of the event shall win the book “Three Halves” by Prana Natarajan.
10. By participating in the contest, you agree to the terms and conditions of the contest and the judges’ decision shall be binding.

The voting process for the readers:

1. The option for rating would be given below each story on the website. 
2. Readers to rate the story on the basis of 5 (rate the story based on the story, language, creativity, prompt and emotional impact).
3. Readers can vote once for each story. Multiple votes shall not be recorded.
4. Once the rating is given, your vote would be recorded.
5. Writers are requested to share the link of the stories to garner more votes.
