Prompt: Sonnet

Write a Spenserian sonnet.

Sir Edmund Spenser, an English poet best known for The Faerie Queene, was the first poet who modified the Petrarch’s form, (by 14th century Italian poet Francesco Petrarch), and introduced a new rhyme scheme as follows: abab–bcbc–cdcd–ee. sonnet is a one-stanza, 14-line poem.
